This powerful database contains citations to clinical and research articles in medicine, nursing, allied health, dental and veterinary medicine with abstracts and links to full text when available.

Look for the filter information top right of your result page.When you select your hospital filter or free full text filter, you should be able to view, print, or save the full article.

Your Journals @Ovid is a searchable database of full text journals published by Lippincott, Williams & Wilkins available to your hospital as part of a statewide shared subscription. The 100+ title collection (also seen as My Subscriptions) includes archives of back issues and pre-print contents including all charts and graphics with internal linking for cited references.

The larger Journals@Ovid Full Text (All Ovid Journals) collection of 2,300+ titles allows you to access the tables of contents, abstracts and references for journals from many other publishers, as well as the same full text articles in the smaller (My Subscriptions) 100+ title collection of LWW content. The portal covers drugs from the time they are entered into clinical trials (Clinicaltrials.gov) through their entry in the U.S. market place (Drugs@FDA). Many drugs in other countries are covered, but not as thoroughly as U.S. drugs. The PubMed link provides medical literature describing research, and TOXLINE provides toxicology literature. Resources such as MedlinePlus provide easy to read summaries of the uses and efficacy of a drug.

McMaster University's free, subscription service incorporates the McMaster PLUS email alerting system and searchable database of best evidence from the medical literature.
Users of Best Evidence for Nursing+ with interests in a specific clinical problem or treatment are invited to use the search engine to look up topics covered in the McMaster PLUS database published as far back as 2002.
Nurses who are in general practice or primary care, internal medicine or its subspecialties are invited to register their interests so that they can receive email alerts and searching access for literature that is matched to their personal clinical interests.
